To revisit the glucose meter donations. I have been finding a lot of coupons that allow me to get free meters at CVS and Rite Aide. This week there is a coupon for Bayer Contour for $30.00 which is on sale at CVS for $30.00. You don't have to pay taxes, completely free! I also had a coupon for a FreeStyle monitor from a few weeks ago. The coupon is for $20.00 and the meter is on sale for $19.99.

There are frequently coupons for glucose monitors in the ads. I always clip them and within a week or two, I will see a sale at one of the pharmacies (usually CVS). The coupons cover the entire price of the monitor and I pay nothing. Since I already have a monitor, I donate mine to the Endocrine and Diabetes Center at a local hospital.
